How to Make an Offer

The offers at Start Up Bristol are based around a voucher scheme. If you believe that you or your business can make a real difference to new business start ups in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset areas then please contact us about it. In order to make an offer for inclusion at Start Up Bristol you will need to;

  • Contact us using the form HERE

Once we have your details we will ask you for the following information;

  • Business Name
  • Business Logo (preferably in .png format with transparency)
  • Business Address
  • Business Contact Telephone Number
  • Business Contact E-mail
  • Business Website Address
  • Full details of your offer
  • Three business references (these will be checked out).

Longevity of Offers and Right to Withdraw

Start Up Bristol would respectfully request that any offers made have a longevity of at least six months. This is to ensure that new business owners have the opportunity to use the offers made. Offers along the lines of 'this month only' are not suitable for Start Up Bristol.

All suppliers represented on the Start Up Bristol website are given the option of withdrawing or changing offers without notice or prejudice. If you need to withdraw an offer made on the website, for whatever reason, then we would ask that you contact us as soon as possible to prevent damage to reputation of either your business or Start Up Bristol.

If Start Up Bristol deems fit we reserve the right to withdraw your offer from the website. This is without condition or any level of compensation being made to individuals or the business.

Exclusivity of Offers

Start Up Bristol would like to keep any offers made on the website exclusive to Start Up Bristol visitors. Although this is not always possible in every case. We would ask that you tailor your offer to Start Up Bristol and keep it exclusive. This does not prevent you from making similar (but not identical) offers or other offers for your business either directly or on another website or printed publication.

Your Contract With Customers

The contract for the supply of goods and/or services is solely between your business and the customer. Start Up Bristol cannot accept responsibility for contract disputes, non-payment of invoices or non-provision of goods and/or services even if a voucher is used.

Value of Offers and Vouchers

Vouchers on the Start Up Bristol website, whether printed or electronic, have an actual value of £0.00p and are only redeemable against goods or services purchased from the supplier indicated.

Paying to be on Start Up Bristol

Start Up Bristol will NEVER CHARGE a business for being on the website. This makes sure of the impartiality and integrity of Start Up Bristol. If any individual or business ever approaches you about paying to be included on the website you should discount them right away. In extreme cases you may wish to report them to us or the Police.

How We Represent Your Business

Start Up Bristol is a 'community' interactive website and, as such, will take no responsibility for damages cause by defamatory comments about your business or any offers made. All comments on the website or on the Twitter or Facebook pages will be reviewed periodically and removed by Start Up Bristol staff if we see fit.
